How far in advance should I order my invitations?Save the dates are normally sent out 10-12 months before the wedding date, particularly if you are having a destination wedding. The formal invitations can be sent out around 4 months before the wedding, this gives enough time for all the rsvp’s to returned so you can have confirmed numbers for the rest of your planning.
How long does the printing process take?
If you have ordered the customisable invitations, from ordering to delivery will take around 4 weeks.
If you have ordered a bespoke invitation design, the whole process from start to finish including print and delivery will be between 8-12 weeks.
Do you ship internationally?I do accept international orders. The same as mainland UK orders the delivery price will vary depending on weight and size. Remember if you are ordering from outside the UK delivery times can take longer due to customs processes.
Do you offer letterpress or foil printing?
I can certainly offer both of these types of printing, due to the complex printing process I can only offer this with orders of 60 units or more. Get in touch via my contact form for an estimate.
What is the difference between hot foil and digital foil?Hot foil is where a plate is created specifically for your invitation and this is used to stamp the foil into the paper so it also leaves a textured. impression. You have more paper stock options and you can also print on top of a digital image.
Digital print is where the foil adheres to ink on a printing press so the foil sits on the paper. The effect is much a shinier, reflective finish and you have to use a much smoother paper and you can’t overlap the foil on top of a digital print.
Can I see my order before it’s printed? You will receive digital proofs of all stationery items before they are printed. It is vital that you check and confirm all of the wording and spelling before they go to print.
I can offer samples of your design for £20 + p&p.
