Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions and make sure you understand them before placing your order with Rebecca Richards Designs.
These Terms and Conditions will apply to any order for the sale of goods and services from Rebecca Richards Designs. By sending payment of your deposit you are confirming you agree to these Terms and Conditions, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and Rebecca Richards Designs. Until payment has been received, acknowledging you accept these Terms and Conditions, Rebecca Richards Designs will not be able to supply goods or services to you.
All orders placed with Rebecca Richards Design will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Rebecca Richards Design reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage should any of the Terms and Conditions not be adhered to.


Once your order has been placed with receipt of your deposit/full payment, Rebecca Richards Designs (RR) will provide you with a date for when the design process is due to commence and at which stage any remaining payment is due. It is important that you notify RR immediately if you are unable to work to the schedule as any delay in supplying feedback, providing copy or approving proofs/artwork may result in a delay to your order.
Rebecca Richards Design aims to complete orders as soon as possible but as a guide please allow the following timelines for orders:

Customisable designs - the design and print turnaround is 4weeks for all customisable collection designs, semi-custom designs are 4-6 weeks. Orders should ideally be placed 2 months before you wish to send out your save the dates or invitations so your order can be scheduled in advance.

Bespoke design service - bespoke design turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the design and print finish. It is advised that for a bespoke design you place your order at least 3 - 4 months before you wish to send out your save the dates or invitations. The design process takes approximately 8 - 12 weeks but can be more during busy periods.

Wedding day stationery - depending on the number of items to design and the finish it is advised that all wedding day stationery is ordered no later than 8 weeks prior to your wedding date. I aim to have orders delivered no later than 1 week prior to the wedding date but this is only possible where enough notice has been provided and the required information/feedback has been provided on time.


If your order is required within a 4 week period, depending on the schedule in the studio this may be considered a rush job. All rush jobs are subject to an additional charge of 30% or £100, whichever is higher, which will be added to your final bill.


Upon approval of the quote sent by Rebecca Richards Design a non-refundable deposit of £100 for customisable designs (or the full balance, whichever is less) or the full design fee for bespoke design orders will be required before any design work can begin. An invoice for the deposit will be sent by RR.
Once final proofs have been approved the remainder of the balance will be due before printing will begin.
All costs are quoted in and are to be paid in pounds sterling by bank transfer. Payment details will be provided on the invoice sent by RR.
RR cannot be held responsible for any delay to delivery as a result of late payment.


Digital proofs will be sent via email, unless specifically requested. Great care is taken to ensure all information is accurate, however it is ultimately the responsibility of the customer to check layout, copy, spelling and grammar. If designs are approved with type errors and subsequently printed RR takes no responsibility, and will not be liable for any resulting cost. If replacements are required, then they will be charged for in full. It is therefore of the upmost importance that you check all spelling and copy thoroughly before approving any designs.

Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from printed colour, each screen is calibrated differently and this is particularly noticeable on mobile devices. Please bear in mind that printers also vary and that your final stationery will be printed on the highest quality professional printers therefore the colours may differ slightly.
If ordering a combination of letterpress or foil stamping as well as digitally printed items, please be aware that it may not be possible to exactly match the colours due to the variation in each print technique. If pantone colour targets have been specified this is just a visual guide and it is not possible to accurately match Pantone colours using a digital CMYK print process.

Design and proofing takes time and this has been factored in to the cost. RR will provide up to 3 free digital proofs and up to 2 proof revisions for each order, thereafter proofs will be charged at £30.00 each. It is recommended that you carefully check the design and content and clearly notify RR of any information that needs to be amended straight away.


There is a minimum order of 25 invitations or Save the Date cards due to the time involved in creating artwork and printer minimum quantities. There is a minimum order of 50 (of each item) for all letterpress or hot foil prints.
It is advisable to order both day and evening invitations at the same time to avoid any additional special order fees. If an additional order is received for fewer than 25 of an item, a special order fee will apply.
On The Day Stationery (e.g. Order of Service, menus, place names etc) is only available to customers who also purchase Before The Day Stationery (Save the Dates and invitation packs).


The utmost care will be taken when packaging your stationery for delivery. Orders will be sent by a signed for courier or Royal Mail service. The cost of UK delivery is included as a separate cost in the quotation. For delivery overseas, RR will discuss the most suitable delivery arrangements with you and agree them in writing in advance of delivery. A delivery address will be confirmed with you before your stationery is posted, it is important that you provide an address where someone will be able to sign for it.

Once an order has been placed, RR will try to accommodate any amendments that you request to numbers and requirements. However, once proofs have been approved, the full amount will be charged. RR cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched. RR will not be liable or responsible for any delays that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control. If such an event occurs, RR will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you. Our obligations will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event and RR will arrange a new timeline and delivery date.

All stationery artwork and designs remain the copyright of Rebecca Richards Design, they may not be reproduced in any form without prior written permission from RR. RR reserves the right to use any stationery created for you to promote their products and services. However, your contact details will never be shared with third parties. These Terms and Conditions are between you and RR. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise. These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in relation to them) shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
